joined LifeSight as its Director of Development in 2009. In 2010, she was promoted to Executive Director and feels privileged to be in her seventeenth year with LifeSight, working alongside the Board and staff as a voice for Vision. For All. For Life.
Ronda brings extensive experience in marketing, event management, and public relations to LifeSight. Before joining our team, she served as President of OutSource Solutions – a company she founded that led corporate development for the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally for nearly a decade. Her earlier roles include Director of Event Services at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center (now The Monument) and Community Relations and Marketing Manager at the Rapid City Journal.
Originally from “East River,” Ronda has made Rapid City her home since moving to the Black Hills after graduating from Dakota State University in Madison, SD, with a degree in psychology and sociology. She and her husband, Robert, are motorcycle riders and travel enthusiasts and feel blessed to share their lives with their two adult sons, daughter-in-law, two grandsons, and a crew of grand pets – all of whom live in Rapid City.

a Wisconsin native, is celebrating her nineteenth year with LifeSight. She joined the organization in 2008 as Associate Director and Finance Manager, assuming responsibility for both general office administration and financial management.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL, and subsequently served as College Housing Coordinator, managing accommodations for over 2,000 students across dormitories, apartments, and houses. During her tenure, she also pursued coursework in the sciences with the goal of earning a degree in nutrition.
In 1993, Carolyn relocated to Rapid City, where she dedicated fourteen years to Prudential Kahler Realtors (now Keller Williams) in dual capacities as bookkeeper and receptionist, broadening her competencies in accounting practices and administrative coordination.
Melding LifeSight’s mission with her passion for food and nutrition, Carolyn spent five years researching nutrition and digestion’s role in macular degeneration, and in 2019, received her Nutritional Therapy Practitioner certification from the Nutritional Therapy Association.
Carolyn has been involved in mentoring young women and enjoys flower gardening and caring for the birds and creatures in her neighborhood.

joined LifeSight in September 2016 as an Administrative Assistant. In 2019, she stepped into the role of Project Coordinator, taking charge of the KidsFIRST Free Vision Screenings program and providing broad support across project and administrative functions.
Rachel, a native of Mitchell, SD, moved to Rapid City in 2016 with her husband, Chris, now a pastor at Fountain Springs Church, and their four daughters. Before settling in Rapid City, the family spent eight years in Williston, ND. During that time, Rachel cultivated strong administrative, organizational, and time management skills through her work with a law firm, oilfield business, and her church, all while juggling the responsibilities of raising a busy family.

joined LifeSight in 2019 as a part-time Administrative Assistant, stepping out of semi-retirement to generously lend her expertise. With an eye for detail and strong organizational skills, Judy jumps in whenever she is needed to help ensure our operations and events run smoothly.
A native and longtime resident of Mitchell, SD, Judy and her husband, Wayne, spent years visiting the Black Hills before making it their permanent home over fifteen years ago. During her time in Mitchell, Judy served in an administrative capacity with the Wesleyan Church, where she honed her skills in support and coordination.
She and Wayne are proud parents of two and doting grandparents to nine.
